Call Mickey Haller

Do you need a lawyer? He runs his law firm in Lincoln and is ready to step on the gas. In Los Angeles, he handles business and balances a personal life that includes being a father and two ex-wives. Originally slated for a 2020 series commitment with CBS, it was canceled just before the first episode was set to film due to COVID.

Netflix has now picked up this 10-episode first season, based on another Mickey Haller book, “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller owns several cars, all with personalized California license plates and legal notices. Personalized plates in California allow up to seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s plates have at least eight. Ok, I just finished this series and I still don’t understand why people gave it bad ratings.
It definitely deserves at least 8-85
I was very skeptical about watching this because of the low ratings and bad reviews but I thought I’d give it a try for a few episodes and then make up my mind. I ended up watching 6 episodes in one go. I’ve seen THE LINCOLN LAWYER and we all loved Matthew McConaughey so Manuel Garcia-Rulfo looked bad. I think he’s also one of the reasons why not enough people watch this show because he’s not a big name but he’s actually as good as a Lincoln lawyer himself.
I’m not that familiar with him
I enjoyed his acting and I’ll definitely check out his other works as well. And the show has all the makings of a crime thriller. The acting, the pace of the show and the production are all good. If you like shows like BOSCH or Try other courtroom shows and you like it.
Hopefully Netflix doesn’t cancel it
Let’s wait for the second season. It deserves more attention and love as it is. Some movies and shows get unnecessary hate, and this show is one of them.
