This will mark the third attempt at a television series based on the world of Cruel Intentions (1999)
Narrative
After being abused at their elite college, half-siblings Caroline and Lucien try to maintain their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. The direct-to-video sequel Cruel Intentions 2 (2000), starring Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally a scripted TV series before being re-edited into a feature film. Gellar would later reprise her role as Kathryn in 2016 for the NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series.
It follows Cruel Intentions (1999)
I just started the show and I’m really liking it. It’s pretty good and the characters are great. It’s nothing special, but it’s definitely entertaining.
I’m already on episode 6
lol! If you’re looking for a cool college series, I’d definitely give this a try. Oh, and to the person complaining about "no melanin" please stop.
You applaud, right?
Don’t make it all about race. How do you feel when people complain about a white character turning black? So don’t complain if there’s not enough "melanin" and it comes from a person of color.
